The fact is, multiple-display setups are usually outrageously expensive. Huge, single monitors are expensive on their own, add a few of them together, add multiple PCs, and then add expensive graphics cards for every monitor, and the price skyrockets.
IEI's VWBOX series drastically cuts those costs. Super-high resolution monitors, up to full HD, are supported, but not essential, for the display setups. Only one computer, with one single high-quality dual-link DVI graphics card is needed and the system can be scaled to 81 panels by linking multiple video boxes together.
The video boxes are super-simple to setup. Just plug the computer into the video box, plug the video box into the monitors, adjust resolution, and the setup is done. After setup the whole monitor array can be adjusted with the OSD as simply as an everyday monitor.
Typically, in a multi-monitor setup, every monitor needs separate adjustment, but the GeniMASK™ feature saves hours of time during setup. The settings of the whole monitor array, with anything from one to 9x9 Video Wall Matrix, can be adjusted simultaneously. This can save hours for big arrays, where changing a single setting would be repeated for every monitor, if the GeniMASK™ feature wasn't used.
Multimedia content is a cinch to create. Images, Flash, videos, web pages and any content that can be played on a computer can be shown on the video wall. The OSD software is customizable using the provided SDK utility.
